CONDUCT DETRIMENTAL TO THE BEST INTEREST OF HORSE RACING
MGCB Ruling 7528 - Erin Spychala (Spychala) is hereby ruled off all grounds live and/or
simulcast that are under the jurisdiction of the Horse Racing Law of 1995, as amended. To
be served 10/21/2022 through 10/21/2023. Horses, Bettors Choice and Vega Star N, are
ineligible to participate at this time. All transfer of horses must be approved by the MGCB
Stewards prior to entry. Spychala has not conducted herself in a manner befitting the best
interest of horse racing and in a manner that undermines public confidence. Spychala
represented herself as a graduate from a Michigan State University veterinarian school.
Multiple persons understood her to be a veterinarian and Spychala treated at least one
horse with an injection

question is --- was this on the grounds at Northville ? or a farm ?

and that two horses were ruled out from Racing .....

This was posted on the FB page of a Maddy Connolly from Michigan.
My son sent it to me last week.

My cousin Alyssa Connolly is an equine veterinarian in Michigan. She was notified by the sheriff and a federal agent that a woman who lives in her town has been posing as a new veterinarian and using my cousins accreditation number and license number to order drugs and work on horses. She has been pulling coggins and writing health certs, even for horses who have now been transported across state lines! She went on calls and treated countless horses.
I am outraged and I know the rest of our family is as well.

Erin Spychala is most commonly known for the barn fire in Pinckney a few years ago. She collected insurance money on multiple harness horses, guilted us all into new tack, and donations primarily through gofundme. And I’m convinced that was all fraud as well!

Erin put multiple horses in harms way using Alyssa’s name. Alyssa is handling it with class but I certainly will not be! Please blow this up!

Sounds like Delaware years back. using a dead mans vet license till they got caught.
