Harness Racing / Monticello race 1 Handle $94k
« Last post by dinkadoo on Today at 12:25:30 PM »
Helped out by the pick 5 rolling over with $3500 in the pool ....

Pick 5 today handled $21k today with all other pools being helped out by the extra eyes....

Winner gets up on the wire at 12-1 over a 3-5 favorite.... Pretty cool if they could manage a double carryover.

What are you even talking about about. I said who cares if they are broke it's not a crime.  At least they are trying and not sitting on the couch.

Oh my bad. Didn't know young people who choose a life of stealing from the local grocery store or deal drugs on the street are considered hard working entrepreneurs who at least aren't home playing Xbox.  ngc3

Bring in Scott Ehrlich. He’s on the east coast at Cumberland.  He would make the races excitable.   Zooooooooming by!!!!!!!

Definitely not true! But yes it’s been a terrible slump. Having a hard time with the vet scratch lames and horses being put on the vets list. While I obviously do have a few lame horses, it’s been unbelievable these last couple months. There are far lamer horses at Mohawk racing, and racing poorly and not being put on the list, and all of a sudden mine are either getting scratched or put on the list after the race. Definitely doesn’t seem fair, but I’ll keep working hard and get the ship turned around. When I go back and analyze each of those 65 races, a lot of them actually raced well and not that many were disgusting, but slumps happen, along with bad trips, bad drives, and sick and lame horses. The way this business goes, I’ll go out and win 20 out of my next 65 races, and you guys will be calling me a juicer again! Looking forward to it!

Glad to hear it’s nothing major just bad luck.  All I can say is after you get one home I’m not leaving any out of the gimmicks. When things go bad they go bad. When things turn around WATCH OUT.

I always wondered how Bobby missed getting swept up by the feds.  Being based on the west coast had to help.

Ohh I'm sure every trainer out there was rollin in dough when they were in their early 20's. You all had new trucks trailers equipment bikes ya I don't think so. Who gives a fuck what you drive. If ur willing to put in the effort to train and race then I salute you.  When u have to earn it it's always worth more. Somebodys gonna back those two just because they are willing and have the drive. It wouldnt take much for them to be batting  450.

.450?   ngc3  You are clearly a relative.  I agree doing it when you’re young is admirable.  But not the way these two are doing it.  Reputation follows you everywhere.  And I noticed you didn’t dispute anything Petrelli said about them.  Must be a lot of truth to it!
