Title: Fraser Park fun
Post by: arniesarmy on February 08, 2022, 02:09:56 AM
So Pompano ended and the only North America track going was Fraser Park. You have to see this to believe it. First, it is colder than hell
First race viewed was the 5th. The No. 4 was 14-1 in a 6-horse field. The last graphic before the horses go to post is the W-P-S pools. The 4 has $747 to show. The 4/5 favorite has $353 to show. I bet the favorite-A-4 $1 tri. The 4 just hangs on for third. Pays $29.65. The show prices are 3/5 $2.30, a 5-1 $3.50 and the 4 14-1 $2.40. (I checked Xpressbet and the 3/5 ended up with $700 to show).
The 6th was a five-horse field. Nothing out of the ordinary.
The 7th, the No. 1 was 5-1 in the morning line and was 9/5 when the W-P-S graphic came up. $1,074 to show on it. The 5/2 second choice was second with $88. Xpressbet final figures had the final show pool at just over $700, so there was some shenanigans there. The 6 (18-1) and 2 (5/2) engage in a speed duel and open up 7 lengths in a 25.4 first quarter AT FRASER PARK! My 4 rolls up and wins, edging out the favorite 1 and 6 hangs on for third. $80 $1 tri, thank you.
Final race 8. Bridgejumper hit the even money favorite the 5, owned, trained and driven by Rod Therros. Somehow, the 5 gets parked the entire mile. The outside 7 horse gets the lead at 10-1, but is pushed by the 5, which dies at the 3/4. The 7 is caught at the wire by the 6-1 3 horse, which is part-owned and trained by ROD THERROS. Show prices were $8.60, $14.10 and $28.30. $2 exacta is $234 and $2 tri is $2300.
Good night everybody.
