Title: Bob Bressenhan
Post by: Pacingqueen on February 09, 2022, 07:23:12 AM
What ever happened to that crackhead Bob Bresnahan? He tried a winter in Ohio and one summer when I was in New Jersey he was always drunk and high at the bar next to Gaitway.

I remember it was Barchi, Sal Sparacino , Tony Buffalino and a guy named Skeeter Ed Pines, he was Joe Ricco Jr 2nd trainer when I was racing at Monticello 40 plus years ago.. The vet Chris Aylesworth was indicted I think for falsifying documents..Out of all of them I was most shocked about Chris as he was my vet and could never imagine him being involved with anything like that.. The other names didn’t shock me as there was always chatter about shit being done .. If i remember correctly Barchi died and Ed Pines killed himself ..

I just saw a Roosevelt Raceway program where Emperor Dapple raced in 1972. You have an excellent memory for an old dude. Question, what did you have for lunch today?

LOL…Can’t remember lunch but remember that crew from Monticello days.. Doc Aylesworth was a real nice guy.. Skeeter Pines always just had a sour attitude in my opinion.. Not sure why Ricco associated with him… The  other 3 guys outta my league and I knew enough not to get associated with them ..
Emperor Dapple trained and driven by Arthur Koch .. Was my mom’s favorite horse to bet on for some reason.. 😂

I heard that story b4 about Lachabce? Was it true?
Yeah I understand Leo Bauer went on to have a successful career as an assistant director on some popular TV shows..Henri was nowhere as popular as Herve in my opinion.. he died several days after he went down in an accident years ago..

I remember that trotter , mid 70’s.. I understand Henri was excellent at setting one up for a good score.. so many stories of set up races .. I always wondered even if half the rumors were true , at the end of the day all these guys who had big gambling reputations, how much money did they have at the end of the day? Even with all the scheming not sure most of them held onto any of their money ..

The story is absolutely true. 10k to 12k in each of 8 hubcaps on a truck and trailer. It was picked up on an x=ray by Canadian authorities as "a dark mass"  They prolly assumed it was drugs. Even the NYT picked up the story with a photograph of the impounded rig sitting off to the side.

Barchi ended up at pocono late 90s. Smokin hot blonde wife. Friend of mine had a decent horse with him in those days named Boulie

One of the horses Buffalino killed was a classy old pacer of mine named Ramrodder. A good 18/22    just so you understand that was after several claims. I had absolutely nothing to do with Buffy or any of that crap
