Percentage of trainers that medicate within 24 hours
« on: February 16, 2020, 10:01:01 PM »
I have been following this site for years and have noticed several themes over the years.   Seems that some trainers are considered to cheat more than others.  My understanding is that other than Lasix and possibly a few other similar medications in select jurisdictions NOTHING else can be administered within 24 hours of a race.  I would assume with all the money involved that most trainers would treat their horses with other medications or substances.   Would I be wrong to assume that just about every horse in a race has been treated with more than Lasix in the previous 24 hours?

I was told they don't do a tc02 test at Mohawk after the race??? It would appear that they don't want to catch anyone if this is accurate. Some trainers warm up their horses 2 races out and not 3, geez, what's up with that? ;D

My understanding is they blood gas the horses prior to racing.   Not sure if they special just a few or if they test all horses?   Wondering if the governance on selects people they want to target?

99.9%. Basically, I'm the only one that I know of, that doesn't - It's why I will leave in the not so distant future. Life is too short to be surrounded by corruption, in all facets of the game, on a daily basis.

I drink an electrolytes drink and pre workout before I workout. Helps me sweat and less cramping up.

Haven't tried mixing a tablespoon of baking soda or two. Maybe it's help me bench and squat more
