You shouldn’t be posting stuff like that just before the sale

Forget worrying about the dam side. It's an EGO day for the wealthy when these types of horses become available. I feel she'll bring at least $450,000. Especially when eligible for KY and as a future broodmare.

What did he pay for her?...........A similar search in 2022 for the Lexington Selected sale using $400,000 as the magic price found 28 horses sold for that number over the last five years and only one horse – Chestnut Hill ($622,189) – earned over his selling price. That group includes seven 2-year-olds who haven't earned money yet and could mature over the winter, and a pair of six-figure winners in Ari Ferrari J and Walner Payton, who is actually just $2,232 short of her $510,000 cost. For the record, the average return on the track has been just over $92,000 per yearling off an average selling price of $560,535.

Pretty incredible stat and shows what a crap shoot the baby sales are. You should do this for babies over 100k. I bet it's similar.

Facts....let the buyer beware! Yearlings are WAY overpriced--------2019: Trotting colt Maverick became the highest-priced yearling in harness racing history, selling for $1.1 million. The Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion erupted in cheers Tuesday (Oct. 1) when the hammer fell and trotting colt Maverick became the highest-priced yearling in harness racing history, selling for $1.1 million on the opening night of the Lexington Selected Sale.“You look at the breeding, and you look at what Greenshoe has done; this colt was perfect,” said Brad Grant, who will be part of the horse’s ownership group. “He was as nice looking an athlete as you would want to see, and I think he’s worth EVERY cent."----------ask Brad Grant NOW what the horse IS worth.

What lunatics, no matter how wealthy they are, would spend this amount of money on a harness horse? The Thoroughbred owners are even worse!   Remember this from 4 years ago at Lexington? I give you......MAVERICK!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdphXOc80ww   How much would they get for him on the ONGAIT.com website now?

This yearling is out of a great racemare, not a great broodmare! Breeding could not be worse on the dams side! Someone will way overpay.

$362,500 it’s pocket change to the big boys.  It’s about their ego not the price.

I will never be convinced that Shartin was racing on natural abilities, so that makes me believe that there are others who may feel that way also. With that said my guesses will be the filly will fetch 265k & earn less than 100k at 2 !
