Have you seen race 11 at Saratoga Raceway yet? Larry Stalbaum from post 8 left in a downpour. He was totally intent on bullying his horse in a hole in front of Leon Bailey’s #2 horse. Without any regard for Bailey and his horse, Stalbaum made a move that blatantly put his wheel under the leg of Bailey’s horse who broke. Stalbaum could have caused major damages because of his greed and stubborn attitude. The judges immediately flashed the inquiry sign and disqualified Stalbaum to last. There shouldn’t be any room for drivers like Stalbaum. I hope the judges give him a severe fine and days.

The bomber will forever be the bomber. Did very well when he used catch drivers last year. He's also not afraid to spend on foreign horses and over the years has done very well. It's rare to have a trainer/driver own so many on his own like he does

Larry can drive and train with the best of them

Anyone who saw that race last night and still praises Stalbaum must be drunk or delusional.
-
The man is a saint. Larry was one of the first "lean back " drivers.

They have and always will praise this gas and go cheat.
-
He’s has some good days and bad ones on the track like everyone else. That’s why they call it betting.
-
No need for Larry to be banded for 1 bad drive

If you can’t beat ‘em, knock ‘em down.

Oh I’m a bitch now? Glad you know everything. Have a great day, you sound very sour in your own life.

Bomber was stabled behind me one summer at Scioto... We were tucked away all the way in the back....
He had a dozen horses - just two of them. He was in a dog fight with Virgil M for the training title as VM had about 50 stabled at Scioto. He had everything in on the last weekend card.
Last Tuesday of the meet, he trained the entire barn one trip... One after the other - I was there early in the morning, he was the there from sunup till about 1030a..... Asked him he needed some help.... Said unless I knew how to shoe, he was going to shoe 4 or 5 after training.
Came up short in training title -- man the horses were ready to go that weekend.
