Tv was on but blackhawks, notre Dame and then Red Sox trumped buggy racing. Maybe next year

Watched the entire card and enjoyed the racing. Didn't place a bet there though. Did wager on the entire Big M card. 5/8 and 1/2 miles tracks suck.

It was a good time....weather sucked but its nice when all in the industry gets together. I thought Pocono was a good host and the facility is nice. If the conditions were right there would have been some world records......that Yoder trotter is amazing. tmbz1

Agree Luc -- lousy place or maybe lousy racing....
I know the track was off but every race was sprint the first eigth, back it down -- sprint it home....
Other than Jimmy Freight who gounded out a win moving up on the outside... was there a horse parked all night ? Watched the replays and the good ole boy system was in full force giving up holes. With a shit load of money and prestige on the line....
Horrible racing on a 5/8ths mile track ---- boring.....

I find Pocono unwatchable and definitely unbettable. Even with reduced takeouts, I never even watched a single race. it was partly the track and a bigger part was the Sox game & college football.

Were you actually watching the races??? How about Gingras with Yourmycandygirl parking out Zeron with Kissininthesand? Or Zeron returning the favor with Atlanta by parking out Gingras and Manchego.

I was only addressing the comment that incorrectly stated that every race was the same with a horse making the lead and backing down the fractions to sprint home.
You may or may not agree with the moves the drivers made to park horses--from a fan's standpoint I thought it made those races way more interesting to watch.

*there was action, but rewarding a elimination winner the week before with a preferred post eliminates alot of chances....would looooove random post selection for finals,,thats if you want real action..hey Atlanta, try the 9..i dont give a shit you won a heat.
*im in toronto, told you two weeks ago from up here my east toronto gang was gonna play those pocono races, for the only time this year, and with financial conviction, IF they waived their ridiculous $1 minimum wager across the board (supers, tri, etc.) for us up in Canada on that product....were not idiots..they didn't and we didnt play...spent money sat. on mohawk, meadowlands' bums and flamboro hacks,,,where our 20 cent and 50 cent minimums gave us a real chance at the exotic cashing......(((thats too bad 'cause I liked pocono shots ake svenstadt 9 ice attraction for piece along with met hall and andy miller for piece
