Race#1-#5 CANOT BEACH 5-1 Ml Came a monster back half last time out , getting close at the end of the mile. Should be closer to the pace tonight but will go off below morning line assessment.

Race#4-#7 ROCK AND TWIST 6-1 One of two in this claimer for Moreau although Brett drives with James taking the other Moreau pupil. Been racing steady at Flamboro, I prefer him at the big track & he can bust the gate if he gets the button pushed behind the wings, will be much higher then morning line.

Race#8-#4 FLYINGEVENBETTOR N 7-2 ML He can leave in a field filled with horses who come off the pace, see him sitting two hole or, hopefully on front with a big second quarter breather. #2 will be in the vacinity of 2-5 , so I’ll go looking for value in here.

Race#10-#6 SHREDDAR 3-1 ML ***BEST BET*** Fought gamely in defeat last week, should make front easy in here, I’d actually rather see him set a decent pace instead of a second quarter breather as he’s headstrong & a complete handful. Wire to wire, wheels on fire.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

race 5---#3 Points North

was facing preferred company for a few months-dropped down to a level below this and was pumped up and dominated--the light bulb may have went on and can beat these on back class

totally agree with Shreddar--does his best when on the engine free wheeling it, will be tough if gets the lead by the 3/8ths

Tough card. I'll call a couple:
Race 2 #7 Poseidon Seelster.  Tough to bet a guy like Moore. Will he do what he can and what you think he will do?
Smallish field. Little to no speed. Hoping he sends him. Either control it or let just one go.
Race 9  #2 Bee Two Bee. Has the post to sit close enough and time and class to go with it. Seems like logical choice,
even if it be by default.

$100 budget tonight and going to do little bit of this and that in every race and connect them too, wagers will be posted before post time, it's still a work in progress.  Thank you for ALL your contributions, you fellas are awesome, dedicated and wise, I read them all, and studied and passed out and studied etc.  I'm not aroused by this card, nor do I have feelings, more like thoughts.

Race 1 - #8 Dupree Hanover 8-1 ml ngc3 , maybe the #7 and #1 belong too.

Race 2 - #5 Frankie Frankie, looks to be the real deal, maybe one of the best on the grounds.  You know who I also like * J MAC and his horse #1 Armor Seelster and the husband wife connection and J MAC's weird decision making with the #5 and this horse leading up to this.  The #1 horse went through good training coming off the layoff and very bad connection decision making, 2/10/24 was a big race with JJ.  Can #5 create distance and see the #1 rolling down the track for a long shot placing or upset?  No doubt #2, 4, 7 are all smart but I (want to) see #5 and #1 here.

Race 3 - #2 Whichwaytotheach or #3 Powertrain back and forth back and forth, what about #5 Blue Hunt, stepping up to a better trainer and wtf with 2/2/24 Yonkers gd track qualifier, oh my!

Race 4 - I agree with whiptherabbit on #7 just need to watch that last Flamboro race and see what that sucker went through and did.  #10 off the claim figures to ZOOM, and #6 J MAC too.

Race 5 - #1 Mr. Ibiza N, bash me over the head but #1 might be one of the best horses around Ontario, period, sadly he and McNair will not be together as he chose to drive for the same trainer owner in the #6 who eh not super fond of here in this race!  Sure #3 Points North was showing off, did J MAC need to, can he repeat or better, I dunno.  Love the #1 and almost impossible to toss the 3, figures strongly too!!!!

Race 6 - Hard not to think the #1 for first or second but is the #7 & #10 gonna f this race up with speed?  Still the #1 looks ok.  #4 Odds On Kickoff, Sorrie, 2/24/24 was a pro ride, confident and timed perfectly, like him lots, and the #5 J MAC and #9 Henry and Trainer Dean too at 19% W rate.

Race 7 - #9 Sailors Shadow looks to be so much better than 154 range, let's go McNair!!!  #4 maybe a longshot with the Roy change I like and how can you love the #3 and not the #4 - watch the qualifier, #8 I like because Brigus can bringit, and crazy but #2, 3, 10 as well.  Looks like a superfecta race.

Race 8 - #2,5,7,8,9 looks like another superfecta race.  Can Stone Carver bring it again???? or was that just a Beaton returning from suspension vindication aka a "Rick Dutrow".  I like Roy now on the #5 and the horse too, solid and likely will be overlooked.  #8 same connections as Frankie Frankie and Sylvain's choice drive.  #9 J MAC and was so easy last out.

Race 9 - #2,4,6,7,9 another superfecta race, yeh.  #6 who the hell knows, not me apparently.  #4 longshot, now Roy with Zeron back together a winning combo at 25%.  #9 Thatll Be Tiger was real easy last, a possible danger here too AT A MONSTER PRICE.  Agree with Bitter Truth and #2, re-uniting with Cullen saw some great speed together.  #7 could wipe the floor with all of them too.

Race 10 - 1,2,4,8,9, and another super hi5 thingamajig.  Sorry, but these are breaking pacers, about half of them show it.  Despite I have to navigate away from your #6 Shredder, not just because he breaks but those others I selected figure, good pps for them and I figure the #8 to be fully juiced by Marfisi and back to sub 152, possibly sub 151 form!

Let's make great things happen.  Good Luck everyone!!   tmbz1

I LOVE that you guys are climbing on your soap boxes  91zxa.1 for Mohawk races.  Every single opinion is well thought out and interesting.  The best part?  All differences of opinion are settled in 1:50.  Then on to the next puzzle.

My two best come late in the card.

R#9 PP# 6 Momas Son Byrne.  Back in the late 1980s and into 1990, I owned a horse who always won in bottom level conditioned claimers at Maywood Park (claiming $8000 nw $2000 last 5).  Then he would get his brains bashed in for 5 races and drop down to crush his fellow bottom feeders again no matter how bad his last 5 lines looked.  This angle has proven fruitful beyond belief for 35 years at dozens of different tracks in both claimers and conditioned races.  Momas Son Byrne should swell up like a wet sponge tonight against this bunch.

R#10 PP# 6 Shreddar.  Yeah, I know he's a head case.  And probably just as likely to run as he is to win.  But this fucker is FAST and he won't be eligible to this condition much longer.  Jody is not my favorite pilot but still capable when he's got the fire power.

Keep those opinions coming, men!  tmbz1

A late add, #9 for the 4th along with the #6,7,10.

I ran out of money, especially rounding the card, the budget really called for 2-300, so I'll have to re-invest winnings or NOT if there are none LOL!  73cv.2

Good luck Doc with your bets and everyone on their picks and bets. Though we all know it's hypocritical,
saying it, knowing when we have conflicted bets, it's every man for himself. In those instances, if I don't hit,
I hope a member of the board will. I tip my hat to Whip for getting a steady Mohawk thread going. Seems like
it's gathering steam. I might add that there isn't enough interest in the M[1] , that I've seen, to match it. tmbz1 11.wp

Are they even breaking 150 miles at who, lol, M1?

Handicapping is one thing, placing wagers another, a plan on money in and out another.  It's about the challenge and fun, but if it's not about profit and building to something then we all have to remember going cold and how awful that fucker is.  Can't pick a winner, nor get a ticket right, do and get a dq, it's like being demonically possessed.

I forbid that to happen again.  Let's get in a groove and eventually take this track down!   tmbz1

No regrets ever, there is always another race, another card!!!
