QUIT BETTING NO HANDLE TRACKS
-
not much else on wed

Handle was $ 260,000 for 10 races. Not bad.......
The PA and NY tracks do not post their handles...unless they have a big night.
Canadian tracks post all handles..even when they should hide some..like Hiawatha , Leamington , Dresden

Hey tubby, you’re singing a different tune now, than you were last year, especially when I posted these dismal handles every week.

you're talking from the business owner's perspective - the guy that said $260 wasn't bad was speaking from the gambler's perspective - if you're a small player and enjoy playing 20 cent tri's and $5 and $10 wp bets and small pik 3s and pik4s....a track that handles $260k is still playable and can be enjoyable...your point is accurate as well..

that's a great debate and I always wonder that myself - my initial feelings were dropping the minimums watered down the value of the bets and made it harder to make a really nice score because obviously the lower the wager the more bettors can load up and go long on their tickets...but then I look at Mohawk pick 5 for example - 20 cent bet - and I'm amazed at the great payouts I see from that bet despite the 20 cent increment...you ask a really great question..
