Tag Up And Go is in the 6th race at Meadowlands the 3rd race of the Survival Challenge.

For those who may not remember Tag Up And Go won on Jan. 15, 2016 at the Meadowlands as a longshot and was later found to be full of EPO!

This is the race famous for a lawsuit filed by Jeffery Tretter of Granite City Illinois alleging fraud and violations of RICO laws on the part of trainer Robert Bresnahan Jr. and the owners of Tag Up And Go. Tretter sued for lost winnings in the race plus punative dameges.

Bresnahan Jr. was barred from the Meadowlands.

So I guess we know how Tag Up And Go has over Half A Million in lifetime earnings and a 1:52 mark.

But tonight he is 9 years old on a positive form spree. 3 starts with 1 second and 2 thirds in 2019.

So is he a "safe" play in tonight's Survival Challenge?

I hate using any old horse where I know his success was a direct result of cheating.

But Erv has this horse now and he is racing decent in a pretty evenly matched field.

I think he is running at 39% in the selections so far on line.

I have lost my lucky horseshoe and this race looks primed for a longshot.

The horse I want to take is #1 T Barrr with Yannick but he is coming off a scratched sick. (+) Post & Driver change.

Any suggestions?

I believe the morning line was 15 or 20-1 and the payoffs reflected those odds in the pools.

Tbarr is 15-1 ml coming off a sick scratch.

Imo this isn't a race that is wide open - 2 favorites appear the best. I'm using di oggi in the survival. Just think he will roll. If you really want to toss the dice ; the 7 Bastille (15-1 ml) is in decent form and shows a 2nd at nw 8500 at the big m and a 2nd at nw 7000 at Chester.

I'm betting a $5  triples 5/4/78. Good luck

Usually I am too quick to default to Yannick especially on a driver change and huge post shift.

Ake is 1 for 42 so far, he's not driving and this horse wasn't a stud before his layoff but you may be right.

I'm not a big fan of the 1. How much is Yannick going to improve over Dunn and tetrick? Probably will get away ok.

The time of last race for akes horse doesn't matter. Ake had em in a tune-up basically. Closed like a freight train from nowhere land.

I really like the 5. The 4 seems logical to me based on form for second. 3rd I used the 78, the 2 can easily be third.

Burke's horse in the 2nd should crush this field. Has a lot of back class and last was a huge mile. Rise in class doesn't matter. Should be odds on IMHO.

Will be interesting to see how that barns horses run this weekend. As I'm a paranoid gambler, wouldn't surprise me to see the 4 blow up though.

Regardless I'm playing 4 over 57. Good luck
