AS GOOD AS BULLDOG HANOVER IS, HE NEVER WAS AS GOOD AS BULLDOG ALMAHURST WAS, NOW THAT HORSE WAS A MONEY MAKING MACHINE!. WHEN HIS STABLE HAD HIM ON GO, HE WAS A LAST TO FIRST TYPE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE.  FORGET THE DRIVER SEADOG OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. GUY LOOKED TERRIBLE IN THE BIKE, BUT I THINK THAT WAS PART OF THE PLAN.  WHEN IN A MUST GIVE TRI SUPER AND IN A RACE WITH STALBAUM, TIM AND TERRY BUTER EVEN MUGSY WAS OUTCLASSED

it's not that he did 1.46.3 unasked on a 57 degree night, it's just the way he did it

he could've gone much faster

he's doing what On The Road Again did in his prime, week in, week out, just wins off any trip easily

greatest of all time!

it was 25.3--just like two other horses in the race

Rockyroad came home 25.2

you stare at the clock instead of watching races--you are a joke

does the fact that 4 horses came home in 25.3 or less on a straightaway impress you?
Hey banana, does it matter if he shot up the inside instead of swinging to the outside? What i forgot about this game you'll never learn puttz!

Just watching the animal race, the power that he shows and the speed he has, it just impressive.
Dunn looks so comfortable in the bike.
He is blowing out fields with unreal speed.
Forget who he is racing against, just watch how he does it.
Most impressive pacer I have ever seen in the 30 years following harness racing.

You can't forget who he is racing against. That's what it's all about. No knock on the horse but it sounds like Its Fritz 39 years later.

Your point is?  The overall competition he is facing in the open ranks is subpar to past years when other champions raced. I'd like to know how you come to that conclusion.

I was just commenting on the guy saying that it doesn't matter who he is racing against. I wasn't comparing Bulldog to Its Fritz. It's the feedback that is the same. Everybody back then was saying Its Fritz was the greatest until he faced and lost to Cam Fella. Bulldog is the best now but it's a small body of work. I'm impressed and I hope he continues. It's good for the sport.
