Title: NYS pylon rule is a joke
Post by: Foalin at 4 on June 08, 2020, 07:34:26 PM
It's a Herbie, 10th race Tioga 6/8/20 , he makes a break, goes inside every pylon the first turn has, and the judges disqualify the horse who makes a break at the wire. Herbie who barely gets his nose up to lap on that horse is moved up to 3rd. I can't reflect my disgust for these judges who don't dq horses who leave the track for extended periods. THIS IS JUST CRAZY! FYI I don't bet.

Better than a pileup if he had stayed on the course.
But he should have been placed in the back for gaining ground inside the pylons while on the break.

I guess the pylons are merely a recommendation for the driver. Pretzel logic.
