Jim Buscarini passes

Longtime trainer and bettor Jimmy Buscarini died recently. Had a heck of a career back in the day. R.I.P. Jimmy. Won a ton of races at Maywood Sportsmans and Hawthorne

He was a good guy! I can remember vividly when I was a kid Jimmy, Todd Dolbee , Falzone all the MacKenzies hustling bets and constantly busting balls! R.I.P Jimmy.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - James P. Buscarini was born September 3, 1964 in Chicago to Thomas and Mary (nee Hubert) Buscarini. He died June 6, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Jimmy is survived by his son Colin Buscarini; his sisters Lisa Buscarini and Terry Buscarini; his grandmother Genevieve Buscarini; his beloved Lauren O'Brien and by his grand dog Pharrah Buscarini. Jim is preceded in death by his brother Tommy Buscarini; his grandfather Primo Buscarini and by his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Arlington Heights Park Foundation, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Information and condolences can be given at www.GlueckertFH.c om or 847-253-0168
