3 time driver of the year, what a joke
he's half in/half out for 100 yards causes a logjam and wreck behind him in the first race last night
no wonder American drivers always win Grand Circuit races if he's the best Canada has to offer
-
My hats off to the top American drivers like Yannick, Dexter, Zeron and the McCarthys. Just like apple pie.
-
It was the same years ago. Herve, Campbell, O'Donnell, Lachance and Gilmour just to name a few, were no fucking good either.
-
clown show
i dont know which of them is to blame but when you do a 26 qtr and then do 30 qtr shit will happen
-
Second quarters are slowed down all the time at every track. It is up to the trailing drivers to be alert especially the experienced ones. The lead horse didn’t cause this accident but the driver(s) behind him did by not staying alert.
-
Agreed . Same principal as on the road. Traffic slows and you rear end someone, who is to blame?
As i said on the thread last night. Shit happens.

FYI shit for brains..9 out of the top 10 winningest drivers in harness racing history were born in the USA.

Thats the way I saw it too. Yes leader backed up 2nd quarter but James' horse runs up the back of Borth and runs in the hopples for a coupe of strides causing the drivers behind him to abrupty take action you can see Sylvain grab up BrettM jerk his horse to the inside and Drurys horse take a bad step and go down.
Hes got to know ya gotta pull if they are goin that. Like I said he almost piled up the field with Prince Sussex last wheel driving up on to the wheel. Julie Walker said as much on the broadcast last night.

James feels entitled to get cover and not be 1st over
everyone else thought he was pulling but instead he sits 1/2 in 1/2 out and causes the wreck
He should get set down for 3 days

Yet the greatest driver ever, and leading money winner is a guy named John Campbell.
-
I call B,S, You can't hold him responsible for horses three or four horses behind him. Like he's the 1st driver to go 1/2 on 1/2 out.
I think not. Had it been the horse directly behind him or 'AT LEAST' the next ..maybe One of those things. those 26.2 qtrs gets em fired up
and rollin, then all of a sudden..Like the passing on a highway and the lead guy sees a cop. They stack up 11.wp

I agree.

Julie called it

Sit up and move your handholds up and take control of your horse. If you want to lay down stay home on the sofa.
-
“Taking back and causing confusion among following horses”.

completely absurd observation
he didn't cause the logjam
he does go half in/half out a lot--thats how Brian Sears did it 20 years ago every race-every night
-
Agree with Parked. Cullen started it with the slow second quarter.
-
the only horses that got log jammed were the ones behind James
he has 4-5 (not watching repay again) horses behind him who see him start to pull
if he gets out in the 2 path the confusion and wreck never happen
this is ONE of the reasons why they fine drivers for being half in half out
this is 100% James fault
respect and encourage others to voice their opinion, I just disagree with some

looks like the horse in front of James backed into him to me

I'm still scouring the replay for the half in/half out assertion. The horse's nose was on Borth's helmet until he got jammed up by the slowing pace and got runny. At that point James begins to slide out. But before that, he was in line with everyone else.

im looking for any american driver in top 10
