Harness Racing / Re: What winners circles have you been in?« Last post by SportsmansP5/8 on Today at 02:24:31 AM »Maybe the three "visitor" tracks don't count. I was there on days there was no racing but I did go into the winners circle Good ole sportsmans park to this day would be the greatest harness track in the workd if they didnt knock it down and Gill having them mo dockin in the lane miss those summer nites you would have 20-30k on fri an sat nites and honestly the track was the best when it was a 5/8ths track before they turned it into 7/8ths 3
Harness Racing / Re: Top Driver Shows Up At Northfield Tonight« Last post by Mrpick5 on Today at 02:03:37 AM »Responding to the original question. A Mac stinks as a driver. He was always an automatic toss when he used to attempt to drive at Mohawk. For betting purposes. Just send everything to the front. Throw the lines at them. A cowboy. He won 2 races at Northfield yesterday because the horses are so freaking bad there. He wins the 14th as the favorite. But he couldn’t help but win. The whole field was hopeless plodders. He even ran the horse off its feet in turn 1. Recovered. Eventually found the front just before the 1/2. And jogged. Other than that stroke of luck. He is awful. I would put that 80 million year old dinosaur on my horse Don McKirgian before AMac.

Harness Racing / LOL, If Mason Miller of the A's was a racehorse« Last post by TimTimTimbo on Today at 12:17:26 AM »He would never lose. Gave up 2 runs in Game 1 of season in a non save situation. He has a .089 ERA 20.1 innings 7 hits 41 K's More pitches over 101 mph than all the rest in baseball so far. 103 mph FB and a lethal 89 mph slider.
Pity my team sucks dogs balls. a few weeks ago he made Juan Soto and Aaron Judge his bitch twice in 2 games. 5
Harness Racing / Yonkers announcers« Last post by Mr Og on May 21, 2024, 11:20:16 PM »Seems like Yonkers has a different announcer every night I listen. This guy tonight was really good. Last night’s was solid. Why do they rotate so many guys?

Harness Racing / Re: how many trainers train on the gallop?« Last post by dinkadoo on May 21, 2024, 11:07:39 PM »Last horse I had was a cheap claimer.
I would blow him out around a 2:25 mile in the gallop 2 days out. feeling good, on the bit. Day before race I was lucky enough to have a large sand paddock to turn out for about 2 hours. Bring him do up his legs and he raced his best over that 6 month period. Not sure it’s for all horses 7

It always catches up to them. And it's so blatant. One disgruntled share holder can bring down the house of cards. 10
