Title: What Is "Helping Another Horse Improve Its Position" ?
Post by: makingit on February 17, 2023, 07:09:21 PM
USTA minor penalty five (5) Day suspension.  If you help another horse/driver in a race, are you not fixing the race? What is an example of this helping?  I thought you were just suppose to try and win a race and not help anyone else.

A good example is giving a driver/horse a hole so they don't get parked the mile.

Thanks.  Doesn't that happen a lot?   Why did the judges act on this now?  Seems to happen a lot without anyone getting 5 Days. Have not seen in the rulings that come out on Fridays except today. Appreciate your example and a good one, but I wonder if the one driver gave a hand sinal for the left turn and the offender waved him in and over ?

Race 6 at Meadowlands, Brett Beckwith gave Dave Miller a charity tuck and Dave's horse won the race. They broke the Jeff Gural no tuck rule.   11.wp

Plopers are dreamers or on the crack pipe. Dexter Dunn is an excellent driver GOAT??? Please. High tailed it out of NZ being raided by cops for race fixing . His stats on a half are worse than Jimmy Marohn jr and last year YANNICK had the same stats at the big M.
Timmy TETRICK has over 12000 wins at age 40 I seriously doubt Dexter will top that .  Dexter fortunate as he’s on roll and lucky to be on top horses. Let’s see what happens next few years before starting this GOAT chat.
