Title: HAS ROGER HUSTON EVER CALLED THE HAMLETONIAN?
Post by: Ringo on July 23, 2020, 02:02:50 PM: IT WOULD ONLY BE FITTING THAT THE GREATEST HARNESS RACING ANNOUNCER GETS TO CALL THE RACE. AND WITH THIS YEAR BEING WHAT IT IS, IT IS TIME THE INDUSTRY CIRCLE THE WAGONS INTO FINDING ITS PLACE IN THIS NEW NORMAL
USING ROGER AS A KIND OF CEREMONIAL PASS THE TORCH TO A YOUNGER GENERATION ON THE TV BROADCAST THIS YEAR, I BET IF YOU ASK ROGER HE WOULD SAY YES AND HE COULD DONATE THE TIME, AND MAYBE EVEN SHAVE HIS BEARD FOR CHARITY ON THE BROADCAST!

Only time they raced at Syracuse, both were Pa bred, American Winner was by Super Bowl (Hanover) Arndon I think was at Hempts then, don´t remember for sure.The Zwieg was the week after the Hambletonian. I think Pine Chip only beat American Winner once, the Kentucky Futurity.
