Back on August 13, 2019, I shared here thanks to direct contacts with FBI, State, and County law enforcement, that Lucpark’s favorite trainer he gets on two knees for, was under active investigation and the karma so many wanted to see arrive at this trainer’s door, would occur.
I then shared this was far from over when it did come down and while some poster here played “Counselor”, I shared real info from the inside.

The best news I hear is this POS trainer will see his charges increase and yes, there was a need for the IRS too. And there will be a sprinkling of new indictments so certain folks who ran around with Lucpark’s buddy, better be prepared for a coming knock at the door.

Rumor has it, FBI and DEA have been following family and a certain POS trainer who has hooked up with druggie flats trainer for months now. In fact, locals near this trainer's farm in Howell, called Howell PD to report a suspicious van overlooking the farm where his dozens of horses are kept, only for the PD to find FBI agents in the van and were told it was a surveillance operation.
Bongiorno son and this trainer have become pals on and off the track. Karma is going to pay them a visit before too long. My prediction is before years-end.
P.S. Couldn't happen to a bigger rat. Only question will he ring mommy again to come and save him.

There are more conversations, communications, and others that will now come out as Nick the rat will likely be targeted to turn on the other trainers knowing he has been a rat for years.
I hear all sorts of horsemen are having one heck of a lunch feeling they can come back or at least have a fair chance at Freehold now. And trust me, mgmt is glad to see him gone as whatever horses don't return from Surick, others who left because of him will return. And hopefully, Bobby Blum will get his job back.
Oh, and if you think this is over and a certain family of trainer and driver whose dad likely call these guy amateurs isn't being looked at, I got a bridge for sale, cheap.
P.S. Not having to see that POS run down to the winner's circle, gloating and making like he's on the phone knowing he cheated is nice to know. And a certain mom won't be able to get in the front seat with the FBI agents to help her boy.
Karma finally showed and the wait was now worth it!!!!

June will see a new chapter in the ongoing arrests and discovery phase. Several have been working on a plea deal. It's serious jail time. The IRS has been involved as one or more are also being looked for tax evasion.
Gaitway was under FBI surveillance during qualifiers.
If any go to trial, it will come out what driver/trainer had worn a wire for months. A regular at Freehold and not the first in the family to be in the harness business.
P.S. Robert Plum to throw a big party on his return to Freehold. Free rides on golf cart to the winner's circle in memory of Surick.

Be aware that the pandemic caused a 4-8 week delay in the process, which includes others being brought into the case. That was close to being caught up but the unrest has cause another delay as manpower on the case was moved to counter the unrest.
But I can tell you that no one "flipped" but one driver/trainer who's been racing at Freehold, Yonkers and the Meadowlands for years, and his family is a household name, was wearing a wire for months and not because he was caught doing wrong. Let's just say it was his desire to see a certain charged party who originally stole his major owner away, get what we all know he most deserved. I, personally, will thank him the next time I see him.
And let me repeat, no one charged is walking away from this without doing time. State and animal cruelty charges are still pending but have been held off as the investigation is far from over. Their plea deals may take into account these charges to come and is part of the negotiation.
You can now return to allowing Lucpark pollution and nonsense chatter about this still active case continue here. I'll be back when the screen is pulled open and the next act is underway.

We all know a certain trainer went running to the winner's circle with his phone stuck to his ear. With his giant ego, we knew many times there was nobody on the other end of the line. However, he did chat a lot and from what I understand, the Feds have a treasure chest of texts and emails that the gov't went through. Now, do you think some really close driver/trainer friends of his, that were tied to his hips, aren't part of those communications? Do you think they remember all they shared with him? Don't take lightly the fact the IRS is mentioned because do you think he/they paid taxes on all their income? Do you think they compared the charges to his owners versus the income he reported?
Let me leave this with you while Lucpark and his kneepads play games here until later this year - You do understand if one or more of the defendants were trying to exchange testimony on so-called "buddies" for a lesser sentence, the Feds would first need to line up all evidence on such "pals" and lock up all charges on them and him before accepting the rats testimony before arresting his pals.
Not the highest of priorities these days, the thought of a walk is pure fantasy. PETA has been told they will have their pound of flesh too once this is all tied in a bow.
For the record, I would say a husband and wife and brother and sister who spent mucho time with slimeball, maybe sleeping with one eye open these days.

I generally don’t comment on these subjects as I mostly enjoy talking about the old days but I am quite friendly with a close associate of one of the indicted and they said they he had to pay his attorney 1mil just as a retainer fee.. If true, I can guarantee the only real winners in this will be the defense attorneys as they always come out ahead .. And I also agree with Luk that the reality of anyone going to jail with any substantial prison time is probably not gonna happen .. I have 2 relatives that are prosecutors and they doubt there will be jail time .. They’ve seen Coke dealers walk away with heavy fines and no jail time .. This justice system of ours doesn’t seem fair to the honest and hardworking at times but it is what it is ..

I agree with all of you who would like to se these guys do time , as what they did endangering the lives of horses and cheating the betting public with juiced up horses as well as cheating honest horseman trying to play by the rules, but I still think there’s a better shot of big monetary fines and lifetime suspensions than anyone going to jail unless they are repeat offenders .. Plus if these guys are hiring top notch criminal attorneys these guys don’t get big retainers for nothing .. They are very good at picking apart evidence .. They didn’t call John Gotti the Teflon Don for nothing .. It wasn’t until Sammy the bull testified against him that got him life..Anyhow let’s hope the future of racing will have better days ahead for all..

Ron Waples picked up the big drives ..including Presidential Ball..who was the best
Ron and Robinson raced at Meadowlands on a Saturday afternoon..and took a plane to get back to Toronto Pearson Airport and Mohawk for a big race.
They sat in 1st class..and Robinson put his attache' case in the overhead bin for the , what was then a 2 hour flight.
Soon after the plane took off..they hit some major turbulence...and the overhead bin opened up and Robinson's attache case fell on the airplane floor, opened and a bottle of liquid ..broke and spilled on the floor of the airplane.
The airplane , for some reason , arrived in Toronto 1 hour early

Top 3 on the indictment Servis, Navarro and Surick will 100% get jail time. They were the highlight of the press conference announcement. SDNY AG will not cut a deal with no jail time to the highlighted defendants. Only way no jail time is if they go to trial with an acquittal or they can get the evidence (wiretaps etc. thrown out) and gut the case. To go to trial depending on attorney will cost $250k-$500k and could be higher if a top hitter. If they push for trial that's where you will see the additional superseding indictments. Superseding indictments may or may not mean new defendants but definitely an indication they are going to pile on additional charges on the defendants they already have who won't play ball to get guilty pleas. It's alot of money to risk on a trial with no guarantee you will win. It comes down to the motion practice to get the evidence thrown out. If the wire taps and the damaging evidence is held in and can be used at trial it's an uphill climb. If they can get some of it thrown out then it's a decision on what is left and who will testify against them. This isn't a mystery just follow what happened in the College Admissions Scandal. Defendants who wouldn't play ball ended up with superseding indictments. When they lost their motion practice (Loughlin) they cut a deal rather than risk it.

Not sure how things work in your little world Luke, but generally people out on bail after federal indictment don’t get to leave home state without permission from the judge. I have a hard time believing a judge would grant sandals permission to go to Florida one last time to sit in beach. Last I heard he was buying used lawnmowers in Jersey to try and start a landscape business to pay legal bills

Luc is protected on this site. Constructive criticism sometimes get removed. He knows he posts absurdities … IMO his reasoning is probably that this "worthless forum" is too boring and the more hits it gets the longer it may stay around.
Not much point in calling him names … water off a duck's back. This same stuff gets recycled month after month year after year forum after forum. Too bad this is probably the last one.
In his favor we all wish we had some of the success he has had in this business and the money to throw around to enter a horse in the Graduate where he knows that depending on the draw he's probably not gonna do better than 4th. He actually sustains the industry in spite of some of the crap that comes out of his keyboards. I'll give him a tmbz1 for that.
