New IL track in trouble before it even gets built!
« on: August 22, 2019, 03:51:06 PM »
Lots of ruffled feathers in the black communities in the Illinois suburbs within 35 miles of where they want to build the new track at 183rd and Harlem in Tinley park.

Seems the track would have refusal rights to any south suburban casino built up to 35 miles from them. That screws up towns who already were trying to get the 1 casino license for themselves.   ngc3 ngc3

Johnny Johnston couldn't have done it better.  tmbz1

I'm sure it does but does one think a casino in Chicago Heigjyd, Ford Heights, or as South as Kankakee would have drawn a dominant revenue stream? Plus you would need a casino operator to build there and some have already turned down less then ideals areas for the Chicago casino.

The major power play is to watch Churchill Inc. They are wanting one of those 6 casino licenses. Can tell you the most attractive is Waukegan. Why? Already 51% owners in Rivers. Own Arlington race course which can have slots but why not sell that prime piece of land. Get Waukegan and dump horse racing. Just watch. They Hawthorne takes over all thoroughbred racing and if and when the Tinley race track opens he can race a minimum of 120 dates I think. Far from what is desired. Will be interesting to watch Churchill play this out

WAUKEGAN CASINO WILL BE INFESTED WITH  43xc.2 43xc.2 43xc.2 FROM NORTH CHICAGO, WAUKEGAN, AND OTHER LAKE COUNTY SHITHOLE COMMUNITIES. IT WON'T DRAG 1 AFFLUENT SOUL OFF THE CHAIN OF LAKES OR FROM LAKE FOREST AND HIGHLAND PARK. IT WILL BE ANOTHER CASINO QUEEN LIKE EAST ST. LOUIS...DARK AS THE MOON ON THE 6TH OF JUNE.

CHURCHILL CAN HAVE IT AND 51% OF RIVERS. BFD. I KNOW RIVERS RAKES IT IN BUT IT WON'T AS MUCH WHEN ALL THE OTHER PLACES GET UP + RUNNING.

EVEN HAWTHORNE WILL BE SAFER LEAVING AT MIDNITE THAN WAUKEGAN. BTW THEY'RE PUTTING IT IN THE OLD LAKEHURST MALL. GUARANTEE IT WILL LOOK LIKE SHIT AND 20 CARS A WEEK WILL BE BROKEN INTO.

20 ? More like 50. AND I would hate to be a person walking out of there after winning a couple of grand after midnight.
Good Luck with that. AND the gun controls only help the criminals.
