Monti 3rd
« on: August 08, 2023, 12:19:51 PM »
Monti tue r3
#2 CAVIART VAL
C Stratton/Victoria Stratton

While 'potential' to get first leg of pick 5 is there..and bottom ex clearly option too... just enough opposition in here so lets take easier way out this time
40 units SHOW.

Fresh, tight, a baby drop.
There is NO excuse for missing board.

Jc seems to do his homework. Must spend a lot of time pouring over programs. Plays a lot of b tracks. Whatever works. I hate monticello and am less trusting of them both on peds and driver collusion. Congrats - the holster is full.

Take a look at 7th mohawk today. I like 7. Scran barn - scotty z owns sone with them and drives a lot. Barn a little under radar still but may be changing that. This gelding ships in. Has some recent breaking issues but if over those may jog.

Must think highly of horse. Started 4 yr old campaign in nw 4 at yonkers (pretty salty group). Shows 158.4 mile win last yr at saratoga. What makes me think may be getting over breaking issues is matt kakely put a 27 and change final quarter in last qualifier.

This isnt tough crew hes in with. Im betting $25 win and $5 ex box with 3 and 7. Favorites may be 1 and 9. Rail horse i dont see getting away and 9 lacks early speed. So exs would be fair price - all have some breaking issues though but for a price that is the chance.

Dave chop are you you don’t want to tell exactly how you think…lol. By the way $40 to show at MR? I would have thought it would have blown up the pool. It certainly would have at Tioga, Saratoga, Vernon and the likes.
