The favorite for the Trotters final over there is by Majestic Son out of a pacing mare who trotted as she whacked a knee when pacing and has now left 4 top trotters in her last 4 foals

Winterfell continues a brilliant production run for his dam, Una Bromac.

“It gives me so much satisfaction because is out of a pacing bred mare that trotted called Una Bromac.

“She used to whack a knee and nobody wanted her so I bred from her.

“The first one she bred, Harley, was 18 hands, but she’s left four open class trotters after that, including Escapee and Needle.”

Anyway, I had a friend who was a hall of fame trainer/driver over there and he said if you want to breed a pacer that runs forever, breed the top stallion or a top pacing stallion to a trotting mare and you will get a pacer that doesn't quit.  He had a top horse who was out of Stars Pride mare and this thing was beautifully gaited and would grind the others into the ground, especially over longer distances.

Now obviously people don't experiment too often and why would they but interested if anyone here has any thoughts or knew of any bred like this. I know we had Googoo Gaagaa
