I would give an owner the benefit of the doubt if they were a) new to the sport b) had one trainer who got popped and they decided to move on.


The Crawfords, and similar owners, can't claim ignorance having been around horses for so long.

You can't plead ignorance when you see what these horses are doing.

-How can you be a breeder and know that horses are doing what they aren't supposed to? Further, how can you be a breeder and not see that the horses look like they are on jet fuel? Drugged horses usually have tells in body language and behavior.

-How can you see that all of your trainers have insane first off the claim rates, first start in the barn, world records after one or two starts in the barn, etc.?

-How can you employ three trainers who have been very publicly banned from at least three tracks? Surick from Meadowlands in 2018, Oakes permanently banned from a few tracks, and Navarro was banned from a track or two.

No one in the Industry will ever turn down horses no matter who they came from, new trainers need to come out and publicly denounce POS (Surick)and Oakes. I have not heard one word denouncing POS or Oakes from Crawfords, they are phony, only care about winning, not the horse. Powerfulpatrick 100% right

How will this affect the new rule since they didnt get a positive test yet Surick trains for them, all horses he has are barred from Stakes competition. Or should be.
