Iowa lost starting point guard Molly Davis (Katelyn Clark backcourt partner) in last game of conference tourney due to knee injury. She never played another minute. Amazing really Clark got them that far.
South Carolina was waiting for them..FAR SUPERIOR in this tilt. Congrats to them on their perfect season.

She is not particularly attractive. I don't remember anything in Big Bopper's song that said big eyed girl with giant black rings around her eyes. The eyes are normal size, but the black rings give the illusion of big eyes.

My wife made me go to a few back twenty years ago but it was at the Sun Casino so at least there was something to do. Actually was in the same elevator that the 7 foot Polish girl who played was. Damn she was tall.

Having played at the college level myself I was quite impressed by Clark's passing and shooting abilities. Especially shooting at that distance with so much defensive pressure. She is special.

I'm very happy for Caitlin Clark. She changed the sport and took it to a higher level of popularity. Not many do that. Woods did it. Serena did it. Clark can, should and most surely will capitalize fully and get as many endorsement and off-court deals as she possibly can. The WNBA max salary of $242,000 alone obviously will not create substantial/generational wealth.

I agree with you that her offensive passing and shooting skills are excellent.
On the other hand, she's not especially fast and it remains to be seen if she's going to be able to do more than play the perimeter against WNBA pros.
One thing I'm fairly certain of is that she will be a huge defensive liability. Whoever she's guarding will be doing layup drills.

Agree, her offensive skills are her strong point. Haven't watch any WNBA or NBA for a while but if it's still like it use to be defensive skills don't matter anyhow. I think she can hold her own on the perimeter and just stay away from the inside.
