49’ers vs Rams 09/17

(1/1)

30-20 SF as a 7.5 fav. With one second left the Rams coach sends out the FG team and hits the FG for 3 points. SF wins 30-23. SF bettors begin to jump off their bridges. Why did the Rams coach send out his FG team with no chance of winning? Lots of fans saying the fix was in for points.Vegas made a small fortune when the Rams beat that spread with the huge number of bettors had the 49’ers. Hmmm

HornbyDuke:
Odd wasnt it. I was listening (in car) on espn radio. The radio team describing game said no way rams would kick field goal. Lol

Im not of the mind that the ram coach needs the money to do something so flagrant but betting has changed game dynamic. Fans in seats are getting even crazier. Used to be just watch out for drunks but now plenty of po'ed  bad loser gamblers. Somebody died (punched out) at new england sunday night game.

Now if phil mickelson was coach of rams we'd all know what was behind fg try.

JOHN FRANK:
It do seem strange.
But the episode at FOXBORO a little different.
The PATS fan started the whole incident. He the guy that approached FINS fans. He shoved others and then another FINS boy cold cocked him.
Not sayin RIGHT and the guy interceded and me sure he gonna be goin to JAIL big time. Break up altercation OK,but layin guy out no good.
SAD when fans just not get along. NO murding goin at SOX/CUBS games.
But whens me say's this: Watch a CUBS game at WRIGLEY. The joint has not 1 AFRO AMERICAN in crowd. They on field playin and CUB FANS cheerin,if theys not takin selfies of themselves and totally ignorin game in general. I'ss a little bit tired at moment. More to continue.

My wife and I flew to LA to see the Yankees play 11 years ago. Our first visit wasn’t very good. The first thing we noticed was a total lack of security in and outside the stadium. We experienced Dodger gang like people throwing food at Yankee fans. We were happy to get back into our and gone from this unsafe environment. As you may recall less than a year later a SF Giants fan, Bryan Stow, was violently beat up and left with brain damage that he will never fully recover. It took an incident like Bryan’s for the Dodgers to hire a lot of security but it will never heal Bryan and his family.
