Horrible news.  NY is in poor enough stallion shape.  At least he made it to 22. 

Too many have passed going back and forth down under, should be frozen only and stay in one place.

The ones that I've had over the years weren't bad actors but they seemed to me like he handed down a "Hot Demeanor " and when they would get to the track,...it was game on"

Was the only stud that CC had that was any good but then again CC didn't pick him as a baby either.  All the studs she has bought at sale have been horrible in the shed.  American Ideal was royally bred and was a no doubt top sire passing along the good bloodlines he hailed from.

I thought CC had Sportswriter? He has been in the top 10 for either 2 or 3yr olds money earned from 2014 until 2022 & even lead North America in money won for 2yr olds in 2014.
