1st major sale 3 weeks away in Ohio. Uncle Peter's
« on: August 26, 2018, 03:07:02 AM »
1st crop still in question has a 70% rate from foals to starters. 60 of them out there with 1 earning in 58k. 1 in the 40's and 2 in the 30's. Don't see a lot of speed in which most have had at least 5 races. One or two over the half but a fast half at Northfield. There are 50 Uncle Peter's in the Jug sale. I doubt we see any tip the 150k high Mark from last year. Any thoughts on how they will sell year 2. The average for all 63 sold last year at different sales averaged 24,600. Do they pay up for the ones at the Jug sale seems like the other trotting studs have fewer numbers to work with.

I would agree there will be some bargins. I haven't looked too closely and did notice 4 in the Lexington sale but didn't scream pedigree and high prices.
