As Hollywood Dayton begins to wrap up its sixth consecutive year of growth this week, first year Director of Racing Jason Bluhm and his staff were delighted with the new daily handle record of $664,945.

Most of the East Coast guys are bias...They forget there is racing in other parts of the world! I mean most of these guys probably helps yonkers handle! That should tell you what kind of people we are talking about. Dayton is doing much better! MVG would do better if they would have put some damn thought into the gymnasium they built!

Yea they don't carry any signal hardly! Because they have the best racing around so they think! That is why they get no handle. They send out the runners and a few harness tracks and that is all!

They run 13 or 14 races a card. People are bragging on a 47k per a race handle? That the paltry amount that goes back to the purse account per race may fund a race for 3,000-4,000k? Boy that's something to hang your hat on funding harness racing.
