Doesn’t sound like Brett gave two fucks about driving in those races. He wanted to get back home spend time with his family. He has already made 140k in 6 months and will make plenty more by end of year being Virgil’s main sriver

If he was able to commit his life to the east coast dominating demands, he was all business. I don't think he fully committed to that lifestyle. A number of talents have stepped in and ran away quick.
I have watched Brett from 1999 sport a .350 driving against Case, Hawk, Tharps, Grismore when they were at their best. Shame about the addictions or who knows...
