highly unlikely , perhaps in a smaller region , his fathers failure is not helping him
however i can see him earning back the purchase price in 2023 as a5 yr old and no bull dog

That's a lot of money for a horse that doesn't win a ton.

WAS THIS A REAL SALE OR WAS IT A PARTNERSHIP RE-ALIGNMENT?   IT SOMETIMES IS MISLEADING WHEN WE READ ABOUT THESE PRICES--THEY ARE USUALLY NOT WHAT THEY WERE REPORTED.   FURTHER, THE AGENT OR PURCHASER TRULY REPRESENTS SEVERAL OF THE SELLERS AS OTHER PARTNERS WANT TO CASH OUT.

WE WILL SEE WHEN AND IF THE HORSE IS RETITLED.

EITHER WAY A VERY NICE HORSE AND BEST OF LUCK TO THE BUYERS!

I would assume it will change hand to some of Harris' owners.  Or maybe he and Hartt went in together.  I saw he has a few in partners with a couple new owners, so who knows.

This seems like  a lot of money. I see Harris winning of late. He is a streaky trainer. I remember him on fire & then could not win a race.

A nice horse, But 500K! Makes too many breaks and 49.1 speed record is fast but not 500K fast these days. Has to be for stud purposes or like Counselor mentioned.

The market for commercial pacing studs is flooded with this type. I would think maybe a race/breeding program. Also, could very well be a buy out for the partnership. Not really a total sale. Current ownership:
Crawford Farms Racing
Alagna Racing LLC
Jablonsky Held Stable
Barbera N Wienick Stable

I thought there was a 4% commission to sell a horse on that site? $534,000.00 x 4% = $21,360.00. How can this not be real? Did the site agree not to charge the 4% to the consigners or what are you saying?

Depends on the price of a horse   Depends on the horse

Special horses. 4 percent can be lowered

Deal worked out before going on sale site

Interesting. I'm guessing I will never have one where price of commission is negotiable.

Many partnership agreements call for a sale by public auction at the end of a certain period. So, when I said a "real sale" , I was referring to a possible scenario such as that.
BTW, auction ended on Monday, horse is still in the name of the sellers. No change.

if the horse stays healthy, he'll earn it next year and could be a huge player in the Levy, or whatever they call it
