Shelley Goudreau
Might have become one of the best ever,

Agreed Goudreau could drive with the best of them, another tragic loss who could have been one of the greatest in my opinion was Lew Williams..
-
Dan Nantz was my heeero until the morning line favorite won the 3d leg of the pick 4. after that I changed to worshipping Spermin Herman.
-
Those that could do it all.
Own many of their horses. train a big stable, drive with the best, own a farm, own broodmares, raise babies, stand stallions, and represent the horseman in their assoc.
Two come to mind. Del Insko and Del Miller.
Wasn't Del Insko indicted for fixing races? ngc3 ngc3 Let's just say he was LESS than clean.
-
Bill Kapinos. How did he stay in business for so many years with Bee Bop’s Amish killers.

LUC OUELLETTE tmbz1
Luc drove his second career winner on my horse, Speedy Lionel, that he was training for me at Monticello.
-
Billy Haughton
He was one of only three drivers to win the Hambletonian four times, the only one to win the Little Brown Jug five times
-

I named my dog after LUC
named my illinios governors cup winner after LUC,,,
always loved him as driver,,,..
-
Iceman, that's a great list...another one comes to mind....Keith,s cousin Ron Waples
-
There aren`t any!!! It`s a game built on fuckery. The more successful you are, the more lies you told and fuckings you handed out. It`s a game built on who can get their hands on the best drugs and have the money to get out of trouble if you get caught. Hero`s? Give me a fucking break!
-
in my era in chi town BOB FARRINGTON was the best driver trainer and catch driver bar non.
-
I love mickey goldin. and my Davey Bulk OF BLUE GEM FAME

If your parakeet is named Pigfuck, then that would make a great name for your next horse.
-
Ira Smolin is mine............. Never had a job in 30 years of betting the ponies----- how does he do it??
-

Wolfman...Horse raced the summer meet @ Sportsman during the 70s-80s...driver Wanyne Moore ...annoncer Gil Levine laughed every time he called the horse home at the finish line. Horse was a beast...beat Paisley...Busse.. .Curran...Magee often.

Dave Bulk made another bundle selling his nurseries to Baldachinos for developments.
-
Roger Mayotte .....great horseman and even greater human being. Nothing but respect from me. Another who I had a very good opinion of and could drive with anyone in the game was Trevor Ritchie !! He suffered from terrible pain from multiple injuries but always gave it his best......two guys who are sharp on and off the track!!
-
Absolutely Trevor Ritchie was a great driver and Roger Mayotte an old school horseman and a true gentleman. When it comes to driving let's not forget Steve Condren.
Steve was a great one in the sulky for sure Iceman.......he could keep one going forever first up......I always respected that ability of his tmbz1

Ron Feagan was the best in Toronto, edging out Keith Waples for old school guys. Christofouru and Randy Waples were the best new generation kids.
How about Paul Matthews as top dog at Flamboro? Dave Wall was tops at London but he wasn't top ten material overall.
The biggest secret in all of harness racing back then was that the best driver at Windsor WAS NOT Greg Wright or Shelly Goudreau or Ken Hardy or Bill Gale or Chet Dewbre or Gerry Bookmyer but a guy named WALTER WEESE. Doubt if any ploppers on this worthless forum ever heard of him.
-
Charlie Day. He and George Steinbrenner had a good run back in the day.
-
Wendy Ross. Nice ass.
-

Condren could drive but he was a nasty guy. Made Billy O'D seem charming.

Condren's a very nice man. I met him at Gulfstream a few years ago.

In my fantasy, I was in a foursome with three hookers.
