Is there an owner/trainer that didn't get 2nd guessed whenever he put his son up to drive?
In my youth I read in Jack Kiser's newspaper colume that Stanley Dancer's son, and Billy Haughton's sons would never learn to drive.
Later I learned on "Barn To Wire" and "Plop" that the sons of Del Insko, Joe Anderson, Erv Miller, and Todd Waren were all helpless.
So now it is Pelling's turn.

Glen Garnsey. Kid was a really nice guy but no driver. Think he was young when his dad passed.

Really, I had the privilege to be at The Meadowlands when Peter was starting to shine. He absolutely was going to be a force. Was a natural talent in the bike, not Lew Williams natural but Lew was a freak.

THE ONLY THING THAT PETER SHINED WAS THE SHOES AT THE STAND AT THE MENS BATHROOM DOOR IN THE GRANDSTAND. HE DROVE CADILLACS AND COULD BARELY WIN BACK THEN.

Peter would have done fine, with the stock he learned on, with Delvin, no where near the best in the barn. He got them later, and he did pretty good in his short life I believe, Billy would have put Peter up to drive Nihilater, if he were still alive. Tommy had talent but would have rather played baseball. He wound up totally lost, after a few years he lived off the name. He had more talent than Cammie, but that didn't take much.

I have been commenting on his stiff jobs on this board before his first fine. He is bad news. But what can you exoect from a track that let's Bob Belcher back in and allows the likes of Dean Eckley to race. Typical welfare track.

I'm not condoning Jacks drive but I'm guessing he was under orders & followed them to a tee.

This kid is garbage hope the ASPCA lock him up for the freehold incident. Hes garbage and ripping huge favorites on direction from his father. Barred hopefully.
