Track Food
« on: July 21, 2023, 01:45:22 PM »
Now that it’s summer and more people are at the track, what track has the best food and what do you like.
I always love going to the track on a warm summer night and getting a nice big juicy Sausage.  Mmmm, nothing better.

I like the texas tenderloins at the county fairs. They used to give the winning drivers free coupons at a few of them.

Soto downs had good roast beef and mashed atatoes

Deep fried Cheese  Curds & hand made milkshakes do it for me at the fairs. I avoid the the grandstand at the track options at all costs! What about the buffet at the jug? Is that a place where you have to eat a spoon of fly larvae before you go so your guts are ready for it by time you get there?? ngc3

The best food I've ever had at a track, was at Prairie Meadows.
Have never had anything bad there.

Maywood Park dining was always great if you were constipated. After eating anything on the menu you would shit non stop for three days and need to carry three rolls of toilet paper with you where ever you went.
Johnny Johnson fucked up Chicago harness racing. I hope you die !!!!

You know where the track food isn’t bad? Monticello Raceway. Why because they don’t have any.

Many years ago I stopped into Scarborough Downs. I had one of the best hotdogs I ever had a I have had way too many. Let me add that although I never went to Maywood Park I thought Larry Bird Boy’s food review was hilarious.

Thats because of the seasoned griddle...

First backstreach I ever lived on was Washington Park, Homewood IL. Just south of Chicago.
Long ago burned down.
Only ate one meal a day.
The All You Can Eat Buffet on the top floor of the grandstand.
If you wait till 8:00 to eat, anything can taste great.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.
