Title: Paul Kelley
Post by: Pacingqueen on December 16, 2021, 01:24:37 PM
How does someone like this stay in business? We have an old horse of his in Ohio and this guy is horrible. Just looked him up, 30 years in business and only made 11 million in purses? Runs around Florida likes he’s in Hall of Fame. Averages $20,000 a year in his 5%. Comical.

Well his father was a Hockey Hall of Famer, President of Penguins and his brother was writer/producer of about 5 of biggest shows ever on TV so I dont think he's gonna struggle for money, more of a hobby

Well those are both good things because he can not making a living for him self. He is a horrible trainer. Guy should be a little more humbled living off his family instead of acting like he is somebody.

Why do I feel you don't like him?  Unless he screwed you out of money, leave him alone. I SENSE JEALOUSY

He had some nice NYS sire stakes horses. Brian Mattison developed them for him and worked for him. Mattison was the brains of the operation when he worked for him. Paul is a nice guy but had really big money behind him.

Whats the difference?

Envy is when we lack a desired attribute enjoyed by another, whereas jealousy is when something we have is threatened by a third person.
When someone is feeling jealous, they are often feeling envious as well.
Seeing a loved one show interest in an enviable rival can produce a debilitating blend of jealousy and envy.
