What is the equivalent claiming price of a straight claiming race to these conditioned claimers you often see at Saratoga and the Meadows?

Example:     Pace   CD CLAIM 3-7YO NW 8 EXT PM RACES OR $25,000 LIFE. CLAIM PRICE $20,000 W/A

you got him this time

It’s a complicated question.
No one else has come up with an answer.

Condition claimers are usually easier. The 4 yo claimers should be starting about now. They always go slower then open claimers.

In your opinion  which is a  smarter bet.  A horse stepping up in class,  or a horse stepping down in class.

Hey Kinky! How's those Texas Jewboys? I like a horse on the rise for value. A drop down is often to cheap to take the bait.

No the answer is simple, how many horses are claimed out of these fake condition claimers?   The answer is virtually zero.   These are just good races to setup a nice score at the windows.
