Hey Spencer.
The Bruins growing up.. Now I like the Kings===

Which Bruins.. Orr and Espo or O'reily and Middleton?  Kings are a tremendous organization and team.. great goalie though he can be streaky.. great down the middle Kopitar top 3 NHL center. Norris defenseman, though he will take risk that sometime hurts ( but a lot of reward goes with that risk... Still stinging from 2014 and all those OTs

That was a great series that could have gone either way..
Yes the Orr/Espo teams were great.. I have an autographed photo of Orrs flying goal to win the cup over the Blues.. My Dad got the picture and when I was in Atlanta and the Bruins were there, I got Bobby to sign it.

Bruins - in two phases
Serious fan 1 Orr-Mckenzie-Esposito-Sanderson as a kid and 2 Moog-Neely-Sweeney-Kluzak as a young adult.  Mild fan now.

sure. espo and vadinais ( always at yonkers) for Ratelle, Park and Joe Zanusi.. Hodge was dealt the next year for Rick Middleton. Bruins won both deals. middleton deal Sinden took John Ferguson to the cleaners...

COUNT THE BANNERS IN THE RAFTERS>>>LES CANADIENS!!! Charlie Hodge became my neighbor when the Habs left him unprotected in the 1967 expansion draft...Both the Kings and the Seals sucked, but at least i got to see a lot of the great teams from back East...

Back when i was much younger and had more hair...I raced at Hawthorne in the Jan-Feb meet and raced at Blue Bonnets one winter also, so i got to see some of what was left of the Big 12 teams playing. Having been to MSG, Chicago Stadium, The Olympia, MLG and The Forum will be the memories that i have when hockey was a much less complicated and natural game...

No! LOL.. Name is harness related and a play on an  howard stern , who when doing the dating game on his radio show called himself Jim Lange Jr... Racing from Roosevelt was the impetus for my love of racing. Racing from Belmont with Dave Johnson, Charlsie Canty and Frank Wright was a fav as well.........

Because her name was Carol?
I once met a girl at a bar Yvonne.. Spent the whole night calling her Yvon Labre. Played for Wash and the Sabres I think.. When we saw a nice lookingf girl we would alert each other right in front of her in the following way....
Say she was ten feet to our left .. I'd say "Hey Stu To the left of Mikew Liut"" It was picked up from Dan Kelly Blues announcer

One of the last two books I read were Derek Sanderson's and Bobby Orr's biographies.  Sanderson's was good. Orr's was boring.  Couldn't say a bad word about anyone.

espo 77 with NYR.. Actually wore 12 first... never wore 77 for Bs ... Bourque switched to 77 when Espo number was retired

To be factually correct, remember that Phil Esposito started out his career with the Chicago Black Hawks...If you want to see some great footage of Original 6 hockey, go to You Tube and pull up Blades and Brass...10 minutes of exceptional hockey in color...

Thanks Spiffy... Yes Espo was there first..Chicago..  Big Trade to Bruins with Ken Hodge and Fred Stanfield  for Jack Norris, Gilles Marotte and Pit Martin.. When they were joined by Bobby Orr the Bruins were no longer cellar dwellers...
