R2--#2 PC's Expresso--Fast fractions and still held firm to the wire being beaten by a sharp Lyon's Snyder but stiil clear of others. Gets to the wire first this week.

R9--#1 Senator Charlie--New Burke purchase. Was caught wide into fast early fractions from post 9 at Meadows and never got the top and expectedly faltered. From the rail he pays dividend for Burke brigade tonight.

R10--#2 Southern Winds--Was cleverly driven last week and he ducked inside down back stretch but lacked room down the land. He had his usual good late pace but could not split horses. Better post and similar field here.

R11--#6 ChampagneOnABeach--Had a quick break before the half and never got back into the race. He is much better than his recently lines indicate and should be making a big move at the 3/4 pole to make amends for last week's mishap.

R13--#7 World of Secrets--First race off a layoff and was hung out and pressing for the entire mile. Should have folded but still held them all off but Rockn Motion who had the perfect trip. An average trip should get him to the winner's circle tonight.

R15--Father Ted--Cut the fractions as the 2/5 FAV and held off all challengers in the outer flow but the pocket sitter was able to surge down the lane and get his nose by to beat him. Wrenn often bypasses racing in the finale but not tonight. He must feel strong about getting redemption here.
