Some poor 46 year old guy crashed his sled North of here last night I had the scanner on last call i heard was he stopped breathing and they were starting cpr.see nothing on news yet so don't know if he made it

ouch! Been riding and racing 3 cylinder skidoos for years at times over 100 mph. Been lucky to have had no serious wrecks! Hopefully i can keep that streak alive

What is the usual cause? Booze? Carelessness? Or just unlucky. On a lake I'd bring real careful around the bubblers.

In my working days I used to have a wall of newspaper clips of people I labeled too stupid to live. Was a snowmobiler in there that had drowned on lake placid at 2 on the am. Was drunk and had wandered over an aerator. Unfortunate certainly but also pretty dumb.

I'm generally forgiving, especially of the young, but some people have no f$@ in common sense.

Natural selection weeds these folks out; so the stupid gene doesn't get passed down at times
 I'm an exception.

Just saw it on the news web  guy didn't make it from friday night..was 45 hit a tree.died on scene..think another 1 died last night...might be the 1 that hit a tree also

My bag what I saw was the article about the 1 Friday night..who knows what shape the guys in from last nights 🌳 run in...they had a call little later on some cat went off trail and got stuck..called for help said he was very cold ...thank God the old cell phone was working
