Judges haven't hung any paper there since they started except for butterbeans and then they let him beard up.Cumby needs some personnel changes or I think they're doomed.

i said all this months ago. i was for a new start with all new people. what we got was a california group to manage. only positive there was they got the signal out everywhere. no too many are betting but its out there. other than that its wasted money.  i was for all new judges. we got the best of the downs, a woman with experiance from mass, and a new judge for sure. i wished we got three ex marine type judges who enforce all the rules fairly. other than the dragging the races out cumberland is doing things ok.       the state needs to step up. been the case for many many years. i know they take samples but do they really get tested? i have only heard the few positves that have not been officially posted. seeing the looks of the majority of winners at cumby, thats hard to believe.     so far i can only say i have mixed feelings. i want them to do well. its not beyond repair but things do need improving, but its not cumberlands fault.

The track can exclude anyone they want, thats easy.Maybe they should think about it, the rest would sit up and take notice.

you are right. the track can exclude anyone. it does not happen often enough. im not sure it would work in this case. horses are racing under so many different trainers names. they go back to the same barn no matter who was listed as trainer that day. that is something that got completely out of hand. it should not be allowed to this extent.

trying to be positive. saturday is a good card. stakes races. cooler weather than tuesday. hope for a decent crowd to come out.

This can easily be stopped. When the meet doesn't hit its expectations and ends after one year, we'll get the usual;"why didn't we ..........".  Fix it now before it's too late.
