Title: Mohawk Saturday
Post by: whiptherabbit on May 13, 2023, 11:23:51 AM
Race#5-#3 LETS TIE ONE ON 5-1 ML Has been chasing better, big drop in class & lands a decent spot on the gate to have some pace to chase in the lane.

Race#7-#4 ACAPULCO SUNBURN 7-2 ML Huge mile off the shelf last week in a paid qualifier, major back half & draws a decent post to stalk some early speed as well, expect nowhere near to ML assignment odds.

Race#10-#5 DRAGON ENERGY 5-2 ML ***Best Bet*** Debuts for Moreau off the claim, has been chasing #2 for almost a month now & I'm expecting him to get the better of his rival tonight & will definitely offer up bigger odds then Waxman's pupil.

Best Of luck!  tmbz1

Thanks man! Luckily, I’ve designed my business so that I can spend as much time at home with my family as possible. I’m at the barn 6 days a week which is great, and usually only at Mohawk one morning a week and one night per week. I don’t want to miss my kids grow up, even though it’s flying by! 😩

Congratulations to auciello barn. Fabrizo (sp?) was on my radar as a horse transferred fron marfsi to ca ran a big race several weeks back and his last line from 11 post (a kill er at mohawk) he was put in play and didnt have the easiest trip.

Horse surprised me was momma san byrne. Though i guess he shouldnt have as i bet him the prior week and was not using this week. There are actually 3 certainties in life. Death! Taxes! Duke off =s live horse. Lol

Barn has a few in monday. Sometimes when barns get healthy its contagious. Just like sick household. One gets over the rest feel better. First race is nice nw 8500ish. Favirite will be chulo imho. an auciello entrant that j mac sticks to preferring over the stables white tiger and mcnairs pikachu. And both won easy last in class around the nw 8500 level. Later two are also at times trotter ffaers so i guess jmacs selection of chulos means something. Chulo is breaker though so who knows. I wouldnt sleep on the other auciello entrant 4 its time to go home - fits very well at this level. Im betting time to go home to win and using both bixsexyca and no others horses in p5. Gl anyone playing and auciello entries on card.

Yes. Chronic issue at mohawk.  Slow nights, (minday and thurs) and when focus is on another track ( grand circuit races at big m etc.) are more prone to have a few races look wonky. Last thursday were a few on card that looked strange to me. Usually horse that appears to be especially well meant isnt likely from program, goes to top, stays away from any trouble and the obvious handicapper choices never move or make belated move. I dont see this often at big m but at yonkers a few drivers are prone to throw in races that look wonky.
