Let me explain it in simple English so everyone can understand....... ...Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment that illustrates a paradox of quantum superposition. In the thought experiment, a hypothetical cat may be considered simultaneously both alive and dead as a result of its fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur.

You are exactly right.  I can't get into the throw-away-breds with their 30 lengths between the winner and the last horse.  They talk about all the money in their sport, but they charge ridiculous training fee's for the little training that they do, race a few times a year (must be great being an owner when your horse doesn't get a check) and then they still break down.  Most of them don't have 2 nickels to rub together.
