So the first race from Red Mile I got to watch, Race 3 for $87,000

Favorite coming off a 50.3 win in KYSS final, walks to lead -- sets a half in 57.0 -- NOONE makes a move. Sprints home and holds off close second choice back half in 54.0...

It's like watching Qualifiers.... but racing for $87k

You weren't watching close enough. Favorite (Better Is Nice) didn't cut the mile. He pulled from 4th. at the 3/8 didn't make the top till past the half. He came home in 53.4 quite an accomplishment for any 2yr. old.
