Viewed the replay , that was pretty bad, inside for almost 200 yds ngc3

The explanation was announced:  Palone said he didn't mean to go inside so many pylons but the horse was steppy. There was also a horse outside of him and he was afraid of causing an accident. Judges respected his honesty and safety concerns and left him up.

BS ..  The horse was a bit steppy coming off the first turn.  The incidents happened on the 2nd turn after he cleared to the lead.  At the time of the obvious pylon violations there was NO ONE outside of him.
