1) wish they weren't head to head...north field should dominate in avg per race.

2) north field Hi 5 has huge carryover.

3) love Scioto card tonight. Couple of Q horses i like that are big morning lines.

First, best wishes for full recoveries for hunter myers (jaw)and tony hall (ribs, back) - tough guys in a tough game.

Monster wed. night race 13 hi5. 20cent carryover
will DEFINITELY be affected by tue night accident
driver injuries.
Hall scheduled with #9 co-fave, was picking up drive from Scioto-bound Aaron Merriman.(wonder if a.m. might stay in Cleveland to pick up the ton of drives?)
Myers had the outside #8, but could not be ruled out for minor spoils in the hi5.

BIG PAYOUT..BIG PRESSURE NOT TO MAKE
"$$ finishing position mistakes"

((do lanny merriman, eric tharps, jason thompson, keith kash, luke ebersole usually hang out in such heady air?-- not often - and they're all in here))    *heavy-hitting backstretch and backroom gamblers need to be very careful someone doesn't err.

This harness race result could well be historic.
The largest NON-MANDATORY, NON-JACKPOT  format 20cent hi5 prize ever divyied up!!!!

- and all horses coming off qualifiers and non raced in two months plus.

GOOD LUCK ALL ----- YOU GOTTA LOVE IT.

Aaron is going to Scioto downs to drive a 3tf for Beaver.  He would rather be at Northfield but is going to Scioto downs for Beaver.

Tonight r13.  as of 330pm
Record northfield c/o 20cent hi5
changes so far:
Driver changes on 8 and 9 to come..equip and scr too.

First look.

If all 9 go....,
*cheap speed on #1 rail and first lasix for L Merriman gives #9 chance, w/ pinch hit driver to get reasonable spot..will a.merriman stay behind in cleveland tonight, with hall and myers injuries?
When money is this big railriding follow the leader safest way to ensure backstretch profit stay tuned.

the field:
*#1 Lanny with the Lasix..bottom slots 543 poss?
*will E Tharps hold #2's form over regular Joey Mapes? hmm..its VERY possible.
*does Stahl get Walski's Meadows invader #3 into board spot? A piece reasonable..all? No.
*Wrenn's #4 aint much..though ronnie's northfield acumen might luck into something bottom three slots hi5
*#5 Ebersole drives and now trains (formerly ny Godinez)2-1 m/l..but is this nyss young one worthy of a nw4, 20000nw6 nfld. classification?..first start as 3 yr old.has to be incl...but where?
*#6 Kash can establish this one early..keyable underneath slots. 5 and 4 logical, 3rd ? a suckalong 2nd?
*#7 Thompson will drop back early and try to gobble em late. He flies late..too late?..5,4,3? 2??
*#8 interesting one...but regular driver myers now out..tough post but a modicum of courage and first Lasix tonight keeps this one in conversation...go t to see driver...grismore had him before.
*and #9 Bill Rhodes has used his regular A Merriman alot and is always close..incl win over these months back..the suckalong railtrip here makes whoever driver is here for injured Hall a threat..Lems has had him before if he gets call.

Ill have 4 x 30 dollar tickets tonight.
$120

Kash#6
keyed 4th.   XXX6X
and keyed 5th. XXXX6

Thompson #7 keyed
3rd,  XX7XX
4th.  XXX7X

..a #7 fifth also not out of question if up.
XXXX7

X:
Win spots incl: 2589
*playing against 3 or 6 or miracle 7 on top

Place spots incl: (1?)2356789.
*no 4

let's see if Scioto and Northfield can keep from stepping on each other toes.....

Last year - got RTN and would watch as both tracks would be going off at the same time... Never, never in a pandemic era or any other time should two tracks that are tied so closely by horsemen and customer base interested in Ohio racing should ever overlap...

I would have one track on big tv and the other on my laptop....

Is this a jackpot bet? or will it pay out with multiple winners?

Baseball practice so making bets now

Northfield

race 1
Passing on race as you have some horses that are decent ML that are taking a class drop..
I saw the 1 and 9 and both looked good in Q

2- was used twice in Q and won handily -- that was with Arod who does not (there will be a couple of driver changes) and instead you get trainer Popio --- why ? I mean it will help price but I would rather take half the price and Arod and feel better about chances

race 7
7 - got stuck behind horses and is shown as beaten 11 lengths in Q, but he could have and probably would have been closer if not locked in --- He shouldn't fit this class but does because of previous claiming tag. May be an underneath horse at a good price.

race 11   the big carryover
there are some likely horses to play on top but I will be trying to get this thing to pay and will be using the 8 higher on the ticket than that Q on paper would suggest...…

race 12
3 - looked really good in Q -- you get Tye Loy driving but think he may be able to get to front with little speed inside him
1- Q may -- may be deceiving.... Just rode on the back, probably to keep him flat. But Jason never moved a muscle. Horse isn't great, but this a NW 1

SCIOTO

Race 2
3- will be a big price for underneath horse, caught behind a wall and when got in between horses had a good flash of speed at wire.... Fair horse hit the board 8 times last year as 2yo

Race 3
5 - on the 18th was one of the most impressive trotters on day... Deaton just riding....
if they stay trotting it looks like 45 / 45 all day
8- Nice Q, left from outside and sat on rail and had horses in front that he looked like he could go with..
underneath horse that will be about 50-1

Race 4
8 - underneath horse... Left from 9 hole made a move around tired one and then Josh just raced easily.

Race 7
1-got real good at MVR in claiming series
2- solid horse and Hitchcock has one at both Northfield and Scioto
8 - *** sat in two hole on Q and had horse pinned to helmet of winner in Q at Delaware.

Race 8
6 - raced real good in Q in the four path top of the lane and Trevor Smith didn't ask him in the lane...

Race 12
4- made a nice move in Q, first up with back half of 55.3
7- the Q line looks like a horse that had the rail, sat and closed to be second.   He actually had a dead horse in front of him and Ty Rush moved him from rail to the 4 path in the short Delaware stretch to close...

Race 14
5- will be favorite --- followed around the track and was just tipped without Sugg asking to close against a very
nice Northfield horse Uncle Reimus…. this is a NW/1 race.

Race 13 update

Stahl also out...grismore takes 3
Emanuel miller takes 8
Palone has 9

259 win possibles

Sticking with 6 and 7 keyed under
XXX6X
XXXX6
XX7XX
XXX7X

6 or 7 longshot place poss too..
7 for 5th not out of question

Palone appearance SHOULD ENSURE 9 NO WORSE THAN 2ND with cheap speed Lanny with lasix start from rail ahead of him
