Title: Mohawk Monday Night
Post by: whiptherabbit on July 23, 2018, 08:08:20 AM
Race#5-#4 Chestnut Schofield 6-1 ML Not lots of hate speed in here, I think Hensley will try to bottom out this bunch.

Race#12-#8 Regil Tiger 5-2 ML I think he absolutely airs in here tonight & 2-1 would be a gift.

Best Of Luck!

Give me a card of 2yo's over a card of overnites any day of the week. Go race at a B track if you have a 10 year old pet that needs a walk

10 grassroot races nothing like betting on a bunch of future 5000 claimers
Title: Re: Mohawk Monday Night

just to clarify for those of you numerically challenged or who cant pay attention to details
fyi , the above things are imporftant if you want to bet on horses and not lose all your money
there are 12 races tonight
8 are grass roots
2 are gold divisions( yes they are different)
2 overnight races
and 5 claimers??, I trust you don't own any of them racing tonight but if you do and want to sell any of them for $5,000 Canadian let me know

Yes I’m still confused on this

From reading the article
Seems as though this individual purchases a 3 dollar base using a single combination of finishers

Not sure how you are confused
Don’t matter if it’s a 20 cent or 20$ ticket
It was the only one so he gets the jackpot

So he got the pool minus tracks money but he had the only ticket so doesn't matter if was 20cents or$1or$3 one payoff the pool 426k if the we're multiple hits he would get conslation payday multiple times but that person very happy way he got it.....

it is a single winning ticket
it just had a value of $3.00 and not $.20
in the computer system it comes up a one ticket sold
Title: Re: Mohawk Monday Night
Post by: mohawkid on July 23, 2018, 02:30:38 PM
Equus that’s not true about 1 person
It’s a single ticket
For example if you bet hypothetically
1/23/234/2345/2345 and also bet
1/234/23/2345/2345 and it finished
1/3/2/4/5 you would not get the jackpot because there are 2 winning ticketsz even though 1 person has them both

Oh I didn’t know that

Interesting
Thanks tmbz1

Im personally not a fan of the jackpot bets
Seems like even if the top 5 are Bombs
You are never the single winning ticket

So instead of betting that the top 5 come in order
Which is tough in itself

You are betting you are the single ticket
Just is very tough to me

SCoop,
Can we talk?  I know a little about this.

1.  There must be 1 single winner at the base bet level.

2.  Limit play to mandatory payout days.

3.  Along with Pick _ carryovers, these are the best bets in all of the gambling world.

And not a Mohawk

100% TRUE!

I used 1-3-4 in pk5 but the 1 should have been Dq'ed.

When McNair came back into line after breaking into the turn he caused Macdonnell to check up his horse to keep from ramming into the back of McNair.

The judges refused to show the return of McNair back into first over in the inquiry view they showed twice.

They stopped the replay review right before the actual interference happened.

My tickets are still good but I singled the 10 in the 4th so watch McNair lose with that one.

Oh Canada did you watch the race?

Yes I have seen every race at WEG since the last 3 decades and if you can say you know the wheel was broken I will believe you but there was no evidence to be had from the replay? The bike didn't travel like the wheel was broken, it looked fine ? I'm sure that was the first question they asked Trevor speaking to him about the incident on the phone..."Did you suffer broken equipment from the contact Trevor" ? I'm sure he said all was fine, yes I know the McNair/ Henry families are close but to mislead in an investigation carries a big fine. Would he lie? I would say the wheel was not flat or he would have been placed behind Trevor. I even watched the head on and as soon as I get home I will watch again, maybe I missed something tmbz1

152 was with Auciello and the horse fell off a cliff fast. Suspect one would go broke quickly betting this guy.
He went a big trip over Grand River last start, the guy has claws not hands. Tough to bet. tmbz1

Why make that assumption just because you cant bet him? He hits the board over 40% of the time at great prices. What other knowledge do you need?

Not sure where you're getting the 40% quote from. As a trainer since 2014, I see him having roughly a 30.8% on the board rate with a 6% win rate during that span.
