I think the stable had to sell a couple slots bought for Ohio last year on the pace side. Whether they made any money or not it dud tie up owner money for months. Maybe they ended up making a few bucks when they had to sell. Also it isn't AM buying that spot he did a couple years ago with that OH pacer that he begged and begged owners to hop on the remaining shares nobody wanted. In the end horse was a bust as he fed enough bullshit as the 2 yr trained down because he was in for 70%. Horse didn't even make it into his full 2yr season before being dumped.

the plan is just shuffle out the bad and replace with new ones to keep the training  bills coming
promote the few good ones and forget the 80% that dont pay for themselves
but hey as they say buyer beware nobody is being forced into it
