Post by: HornbyDuke on November 29, 2018, 09:25:57 PM
tmbz1 Just watched on ESPN. Great show on the fall of Bobby Knight.  Had watched the Knight train at Indiana from the chair throwing incident in the pan am games on but had forgotten most of this. Good show.

I'll have to check out the Buster Douglas . I remember watching the fight live with Tyson in Japan. Up until then I had thought Tyson unbeatable. Saw the Tyson/Ferguson fight live in person in Troy NY (RPI fieldhouse). Tyson broke Ferguson's nose.  At one point, Tyson was an intimidating dude that destroyed contenders in the ring.

Douglas fight was fixed by king and vegas.

If it was fixed, Tyson didn't take liston dive. He  took some punishment.

Fair amount of boxing was questionable. Two liston Ali fights goofy.
