To me, the best definition of a good handicapper is... Your Favorites Win and Your Longshots Run Well.
I'm doing neither now.
Longshot win bets are nowhere... Favorites/Horizontal singles getting beat.
What do you do to turn it around?

I have a secret fool proof system. Send me the deed to your estate in Martha's Vineyard and I promise I will send you my system.

It is virtually impossible to pick a winner from just reading the program. There are a million other factors that play into it. 2 drivers pissed at each other ding donging to the quarter is 25. Pre race concoction didn't work. Driver waits too long and gets buried on the rail. The horse just doesn't feel good. The driver doesn't feel good. And on and on

Chart most players. It's a series of ups and downs on the charts. Know when to go heavy on the upswing. It will come.....

watch replays, lots of replays. Look for not just the obvious horse sitting in the two hole that got locked, everyone saw that. Look for the horse third or fourth under that with the help of the program is going to get some money off the card and make a drop in class in next start.
I'm big also on watching the fractional times. It's one thing to watch a horse close 8 lengths when the second half of a mile is slow.... It's another to see a horse close, even slightly running wide after a slow front half.
I will watch 20 replays and try to find one or two horses.
