When will the casinos decouple and HISA take over
« on: May 06, 2024, 12:57:14 AM »
How much longer do you ploppers think before the casinos are able to break away and how much longer before HISA steps in to handle the scumbags? I say within 5 years for the casinos to finally be on their own and I say 1 year before HISA is in charge.

As soon as the box is empty because nobody can compete against the top 10 dopers. Why are they still listed as trainers in the program and USTA site anyhow. You do realize the casinos know once there are no horses to race they now will have 1/2 or 5/8 of a mile more parking and more money.

Chances are you won’t have harness racing if this occurs. I don’t think harness racing owners could afford the fees associated with HISA!

The more the public see's state generated revenue is being used to support a dead, abusive and criminal industry, that is when the pressure will be put on politicians "who also benefit from this joke of an industry" to change the laws and steer the money somewhere else. Will it happen? Magic 8 Ball says...without a doubt.

A similar thing happened in the Greyhound racing industry in Florida. It was common knowledge that trainers were using cocaine and other drugs on the dogs while the Florida state officials did nothing. Then with all the injuries getting the attention of PETA the industry was doomed. Of course the decoupling in Florida put a nail on the coffin for harness racing at Pompano. At the end of the day harness racing is a dead man walking and the industry, especially the USTA, has no one to blame but themselves.

It’s really the juicing trainers who get the big backing from the wealthy owners. Just wasn’t to see HISA take over and all of the owners cry like little bitches. It will e,iminste the greedy owner and then it will evolve back into a fun game again.
