I think it's watchable, but make it better by getting rid of NW of ? last five starts. Make a wide range of claiming races, that way they may not be 2/5 always, unless they want them claimed. May make for better racing. Just my thought.

Freehold still smells like urine when you come up the escalator to buy a program.

LUC, I had a summer house in bethel 5 miles from monti in the 80's and 90's. monti was a nice track and fairly competitive years ago. I used to love sat nights and sun afternoons there and the 4th of july day/night double headers.

some horses stuck in my head from back then

peas of work
Jethro bodine
sir Caesar
ampong
cudgel

summers were  fun there

ampong was a trotter trained and driven by betsy Philips, pretty nice horse, hit the board a lot

I don't remember that one. most of the drivers and trainers lived around me. the owner of a horse named poindexter was my ex wifes friend. cheap 2500 claimer which there were plenty of on those cards

Freehold average age of the 100 souls who visit there must be close to 70.

I went to freehold only twice in the last ten years. once in 2009 and once last year.
I only went last year because my friend came in from pa and dragged me there. we were in that room with the snack bar towards valet parking.
there were some 50 somethings peppered in but none younger
